➤ NdFeB is present at a concentration of 2-3% in a solution of 1000 mg per liter.

Conventional medicine

➤ Neodymium is important in the production of glass for optical and laser equipment.

➤ Neodymium lasers are used in surgical procedures to crush ureteral calculi.

➤ Causes cephalalgia, hypertension, nephropathy, and ectomy of other organs.

Interesting facts

➤ Neodymium compounds have different colours: Nd2O3 - blue, halides - lilac, NdF3 - pink, Nd2I3 - green, carbide - brownish-gold, NdB6 - blue ("alexandrite" effect)

➤ Nd2O3 - dielectric

➤ The addition of Nd to Al and Ti significantly strengthens these alloys.
